Obituary of Rose A. Caputo

Rose A. Caputo of Port Jervis died July 19, 2022 at Bon Secours Community Hospital. She was 97. The daughter of the late Dominic and Anna Centrone she was born August 3, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY. She was a longtime member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Port Jervis. Her family recalls her pride of having made her own dress and graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology. More so they recall the love they had for her and the love she showed as a mother and grandmother. Holidays will never be the same without her or her cooking. Beloved wife of the late Frank. Devoted mother of Rosetta, Frances Usischon (The late Kenneth) Dominic and the late Carlo. Loving grandmother of Donnarose Case (Ryan) and Theresa Eckert (Danny). Great grandmother of Killian, Colton and Kendall. Dear sister of Antonia Helzer, Mary Giovanniello, the late Leonard Centrone and the late Johnny Centrone. Visiting Friday 4 to 7:00 PM July 22, 2022 at the KNIGHT-AUCHMOODY Funeral Home 154 East Main Street Port Jervis NY 12771. Last Leave Saturday 9:15AM from the Funeral Home.
