Mr. James H. Lovelace Sr. was a great story teller. He shared many great memories of his days racing cars with his friends and all the adventures he had as a young man. He introduced me to many country music artists he was fond of, from Kitty Wells, George Jones, Conway Twitty, Patsy Cline, to Andrew Jackson. His love for country music told me how sensitive and caring he was and how much he loved our Lord Jesus Christ. James' favorite phrase each time I asked him if he's ready was, "I'm ready like canned ham.". It was a pleasure helping take care of him. He will surely be missed.
