Obituary of Elizabeth Jean Jones

Elizabeth Jean Jones armed with a lifetime of memories and the love of her family, took her final journey home to heaven. She is reunited with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her loved ones gone before her. Her work here on earth is done. Born October 19, 1931 to the late George & Eva Startup. She married the late Donald Leroy Jones in 1977 in a union that blessed his six children with a wonderful mother who knew only to love them unconditionally. She was a member of New Life Christian Fellowship, Matamoras. Survived by her children Debra Finkbinder (Tom Finkbinder) dear family friend Kenny Shade, Stephanie Byers (Al Byers), Donna Hughson, Pamela Gayhart, Donald Jr. (Dolores Jones), Dawn Bridges (Stan Bridges Jr). Her brother Russ Startup, Keith Startup (Pat), Diane Hartwell and the late Bobbie Schock. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren who will remember her as the one who taught them how to love the Lord. Aunt to several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank those who helped to take care of Elizabeth till the end, allowing her to pass at home surrounded by love. Also New Life Christian Fellowship, Pastor Skip and his wife Shelly and all the members who supported Elizabeth in thought and prayer. Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
