I am so saddened to hear about Helene’s passing. I met Helene in 1983 when I was a fourteen year old kid, and we were in a production of Mame together. We went on to perform in numerous shows--Sweet Charity, The Mikado, Plaza Suite, The Diviners, and more. Helene was always with Lois Innella, and “Helene and Lois” quickly became two of my favorite people. Helene was a beautiful soul--kind, loving, funny--and blessed with a beautiful singing voice. She brightened my life immeasurably, and I am so thankful for all the love, laughs, and good times we shared. My deepest condolences to her family. --Jim Schofield
