Donald L. Hendershot of Port Jervis died June 2, 2022 at home surrounded by his family. He was 83.
The son of the late Fred & Pearl Hendershot he was born July 5, 1938 in Port Jervis. Donald proudly served with the US Army and was the former proprietor of Cordisco Footwear.
He leaves behind his devoted wife of 57 years Dorothy G. (Née Padgett). Devoted father of David and his wife Virginia Hendershot of Milford and Donna Brunell and her husband Daniel of Matamoras. Dear grandfather of Thomas J. Santiago, Kimberly Hendershot, Candace Santiago, Kelly Hendershot, Brandan Santiago and Emily Hendershot. Great grandfather of Frederick Hendershot & Freda Fleiger. Brother in Law of James Padgett and his wife Marian of Sparrowbush. Uncle to several nieces and nephews. Donald was predeceased in life by his brothers Francis and Kenny.
