Richard A. Samse who recently settled in Port Jervis died on May 21, 2022. He was 86. Son of the late Richard and Lilly Samse he was born March 11, 1936 in Jersey City NJ. Richard proudly served with the US Navy aboard the USS Bearss. Richard’s career in the classroom spanned over thirty years having taught countless youths in Pomona NY, Mahwah and Fairlawn NJ. His family remembers him as an avid stamp collector, loving dancing, a lover of golf and sharing many memorable cruises together. He leaves behind his loving wife of 58 years Nellie (née Firetto) formally longtime residence of Mahwah. Sons Richard his wife Suzanne of Greenville NY and Tony Samse of NJ. His twin grandsons with whom he loved and moved to be closer to, Johnathan & Nathan of Greenville.
