Linda K. Belcher, 84 years old, passed away on May 21,2022 at 9 P.M. at Westchester Medical Center. All of her children and her husband spent the day with her. She was devoted to her family and was greatly loved .

She was a loving wife to her husband George A. Belcher for 53 years being married on July 22 1969. She was predeceased by her first husband Douglas F.Percival in 1966. She was the daughter of Johannes Peter Rehmke and Elfriede Wilhelmine Rehmke born on January 3, 1938 in Bremerhaven.Germany. She became a United States Citizen on September 20, 1996 in Goshen, New York. She was very active in the church at St. Peters Lutheran Church in addition to being a wonderful homemaker.

She was the greatest of mothers to Brenda Leek and her husband Roy.; Lisa Bathgate,; George Belcher Jr.and wife Rebecca; and Kathleen Belcher Possemato and her husband Todd. She was a wonderful grandmother to Cara Kaplan; Brianne Snyder; Corrie Ann Podschelne; Kyle Bathgate; Randi Rae Leek ,Douglas Leek , Todd Possemato Jr. and Stephanie and Caitlin Belcher. She was a great grandmother to Margaux and Jackson Podschelne; Lucas and Leni Kaplan, Brayden Snyder and Andrew Michael Gaa.

Viewing hours will be on Wednesday May 25th 3 to 5 and 7 to 9:00 PM at Knight - Auchmoody Funeral Home 154 East Main Street, Port Jervis NY 12771.

Services will be Thursday May 26th 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Rev. Mary Button of St. Peter’s Lutheran officiating. Internment Rural Valley Cemetery, Cuddelbackville, NY.

At George’s request ALL are welcome to join the funeral repast at The Naval Ship VFW Post 7241; 46 Barcelow Street Port Jervis NY 12771.
