Shari Hendrick-Dillon age 57 of Sparrrowbush, NY and a life long resident of Port Jervis passed away on May 9, 2022 at the Westchester Medical Ctr., Valhalla, NY. Shari was born August 29, 1964 in Port Jervis, NY, the daughter of the late Thomas Hendrick and Mary Jane Hartwell Hendrick Millspaugh, who survives. She worked for Future Home Technologies in Port Jervis, being able to fulfill many different aspects of construction. Shari is survived by her devoted wife Claire Dillon at home, her three daughters Kelly Intranuovo and her husband Joseph of Port Jervis, Meghan Powell and her husband Nickolas of Gaylord, MI, Jessica Forster and her husband Jesse of Sparrowbush, her son Michael Gould and his wife Dana of Palmetto, FL. her mother, Mary Jane Millspaugh and her step-father John Millspaugh of Port Jervis, her brothers, James Hendrick and his wife Geralyn of Plano, Tx. and Andrew Millspaugh of Bozeman, Montana, her sister in law, Patricia Dillon of Old Town FL. Shari is the beloved grandmother of Dominick Intranuovo, Kane Powell, Emmy, Jaxson and Jameson Forster and AshlynRey Gould. She is also survived by her very close and dear friends, David and Patty Krupunich of Port Jervis, and Gary Mason and Kevin Thornhill of St. Petersburg, Florida and a beloved aunt to several nieces, nephews and a cousin to many. She leaves behind her special pet dogs "Darby "and “Finnigan" Shari was pre-deceased by her daughter Kathryn C. Reilly, her granddaughter Hanna Powell, father in law Frank Dillon, mother in law Cecilia Dillon and brother in law Michael Dillon. She was a member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church. She graduated form Port Jervis High School and continued her education at Davis & Elkins College in West Virgina, earning her bachelors degree upon graduation. Shari was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority Chapter at Davis & Elkins. She was a member and past chaplain of the Port Jervis Lodge of Elks, #645, B.P.O.E.. She was an avid Yankees Fan and never missed a chance to attend a game in New York. She enjoyed traveling and above all, her family was most important. Her hearty laugh and quick wit will be missed by all who knew and loved her. The family will receive friends on Wednesday May 11 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 PM. at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY. Elks memorial services will be held 6:30 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 10:30 AM at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home. Rev.William Harris will officiate. Interment will immediately follow St. Mary’s Cemetery Port Jervis. Memorial contributions may be made the Port Jervis-Deerpark Humane Society, Route 209, Port Jervis, NY 12771.Arrangements are by the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY.
