Ann Marie Keller left us on April Fool’s Day at the age of 78. She peacefully passed away in Bon Secours Hospital in Port Jervis, NY surrounded by her husband and a great team of healthcare professionals. Ann grew up in Rutherford, NJ where she graduated from High School in 1961. Immediately after high school she attended the Katherine Gibbs school in New York City and became an administrative assistant at the then First National City Bank. In 1965 she traveled to Bremerhaven, Germany to marry George R. Keller also of Rutherford, N.J. a U.S. Navy Cryptologist, later retired from the Navy as well as a Technical Maintenance Supervisor at CBS in New York City. In 1967 she and George settled into what would be their home for more than 40 years in Wood-Ridge, NJ, where they raised their family. In Wood-Ridge she was a constant fixture at school, Boy Scout, and Little League events. From working refreshment stands to bake sales, to flower sales, she was actively involved in community events. She was also very active in the Order of the Eastern Star where she was a Past Grand Officer. After her children left home, she attended Farleigh Dickenson University where she received her Associates degree, B.S., and MBA as well as a Paralegal Certificate. She worked in the insurance industry for almost 20 years retired from the New York State Dep. Of Insurance and again Lloyds of London, NYC. She and George moved to Port Jervis, NY. During this time, they enjoyed cruising all over the world with friends and family. She was active with the Port Jervis Arts Council, Port Jervis Election Board, and Order of the Eastern Star. Ann is preceded in death by Edward and Helen Connelly, her parents, and Ellen and Mike Harrigan, her sister and brother-in-law. She is survived by her husband George; children Michael and his wife Pam; David and his wife Luciana; grandchildren David and Kristen; and niece and nephew Katie Weiss (Harrigan) and Danny Harrigan.
