Jimmy was my dad’s Fred W.Meyers Jr. best friend. Our family’s lived close by to one another. We lived on opposite sides of Mt. Carmel priory in Middletown, NY. My brother, Johnny and I would play in his yard and pop in our heads to Jimmy’s huge garage. We were family and always will be. Love you. Missy Michelle Meyers-Quesnel

Diane and John, I am so sorry to learn that Jim has passed away. So many memories from “the good old days” at The Record. Jim was a smart and fun guy, and both he and his dad were newspaper legends! I always thought I’d run into Jim one day and he would tell me the inside joke he and Dave Regan found so funny about Little Feat during a business trip to California!
