Obituary of Barbara A. Cothren

Barbara A. Cothren of Port Jervis died on January 11, 2024 at Garnett Medical Center.  She was 77.

The daughter of the late William and Dorothy Huttner, she was born on December 27, 1946 in Manhattan, NY.

Barbara’s motherly presence will be greatly missed by her family and her loss has left a void that can never be filled.  They take consolation in the fact that her mother Dorothy was there to greet her and welcome her to her heavenly reward.

Beloved wife of Billy Cothren.  Devoted mother of James E. Smith III his wife Joy, Deborah Stickney, Gerald G. Conklin his wife Magdalena and John C. Conklin.  Dear sister of William Huttner with his wife Patricia.  Cherished grandmother and great grandmother. 

A Memorial Service will take place at 12:00PM on Monday 1/22/24 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 96 E Allendale Rd, Saddle River, NJ 07458.  Cremation was held at MacLennan Hall Crematorium.
