Anthony "Tony" Carlucci, 84, formerly of Yonkers, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 31, 2026.

Born on March 12, 1942, in Yonkers, NY, Tony was the son of the late Manuel Carlucci and the late Mary (LaTerza) Carlucci.

Tony spent his working life as a butcher for over 40 years, serving customers at A&P and Waldbaum's, where his skill and dependability earned him the respect of everyone who came through his line. He took real pride in a job well done — and was always delighted when someone noticed.

A faithful Catholic, Tony was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Bronxville.

Tony loved cars — he enjoyed gardening and the music of the '50s and '60s, but his cars were his pride and joy. He washed and waxed his car so faithfully that, as his family lovingly tells it, he wore the chrome right off. Before Covid, Tony took weekly trips with the Upper Class to museums, casinos, historic places, and shows — adventures he treasured, and it saddened him when the pandemic brought those trips to an end.

Above all, Tony was a loving brother, uncle, and cousin. He was a very kind and loving person, always offering to help others. He had a special loving nature and was always grateful to those who reciprocated it.

Tony is survived by his brother, Michael Carlucci; his nieces, Michelle Furlipa and Danielle Hughes; his nephew, Michael Carlucci Jr.; his grand-nieces and grand-nephews, Aerial Carlucci, Jade Parker, Joe Furlipa, Bella Hughes, Thomas Hughes, and Irish Hughes; his great-grand-nephew, Hayes Parker; and his 10 first cousins on his father's side of the family. He also leaves behind his cherished friend and faithful companion, Sue Kenney.

Tony was predeceased by his sisters, Sophie Carlucci and Rosemarie Carlucci; and his grand-nephew, Dominick Furlipa.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the Delaware Valley Personal Care Center and its staff, who took such good care of Tony. In addition, the family thanks Sue Kenney for the care, companionship and love she gave to Tony.

Final committal will take place in the family plot at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Yonkers, NY.
