Halsey Miller, 77, of Dingmans Ferry, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

Born on February 9, 1949, in Sussex, NJ, Halsey was the son of the late Halsey Miller and the late Catherine Miller.

Halsey spent his working life running heavy equipment in local construction. He put in an honest day's work his whole life, and that's how he'd want it said, no fuss about it.

Halsey was a regular guy, and that's exactly what everyone loved about him. He knew everybody, and everybody knew him, the "Mayor of the Mountain," and the title fit. He was good company, quick with a story, and never met a stranger. When he wasn't working, he was hunting, fishing, or watching NASCAR.

Halsey is survived by his life partner, Hilary Messina; his son, H. Eric Miller (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Dillan Miller (Cayla) and Kiele Miller and Gianna Messina.  his great-granddaughter Isla Miller; his sister, Carol; and son of his life partner Joseph Messina (Melissa).

In addition to his parents, Halsey was predeceased in life by his brother, Greg Miller.

Cremation will take place privately at MacLennan Hall Crematorium.
