Thomas L. "Tom" Van De Mark, 82, of Greenville, NY, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at Garnet Health Medical Center.  He was 82 years old.

Born on May 8, 1944 in Howells, NY, he was the son of the late Louis and Marjorie Van De Mark. On April 23, 1966, Tom married the love of his life, Rose, at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Port Jervis, NY.

Tom proudly served in the National Guard Reserves for 10 years. He worked and retired as a Maintenance Mechanic for Cintas in Newburgh, NY after many dedicated years.

Tom was the best husband and friend to Rose — there was nothing he wouldn't do to make her happy. He was always there to help, and would drop anything to lend a hand, no matter what he was doing at the time. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking and fishing, and cherished going out to eat with Rose and his family.

In addition to his parents Tom was predeceased by his siblings, Frederick Van De Mark, Leonard Van De Mark, and Edith Ashworth.

Tom is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rose Van De Mark; his children, Lee Van De Mark his wife Lana, Jim Van De Mark his wife Molly, and Sally Van De Mark - Doty with her husband Frank; his brother, John Van De Mark his wife Jean; and several nieces and nephews, to whom he was a beloved uncle and great-uncle.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 28th, 2026 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, followed by a prayer service 11:30a.m. at the funeral home.  Immediately following burial will take place at St. Mary’s R.C. Cemetery, Port Jervis.
