Colin M. Aeberli, a lifetime resident of Sandyston and Montague NJ, passed away unexpectedly in Morristown NJ on July 3rd 2026 at age 55.

The son of Martha and the late Roger Aeberli, he grew up in Montague and graduated from Port Jervis Highschool in 1989. He was the owner of Simply Green Farm and Lawn with his two sons Ethan and Teylor. He also owned Colin's Apple Pit in Sandyston NJ

Colin is best remembered for his hobbies of hunting and fishing. He was happiest casting a fly into a stream catching any species that would nibble on his homemade flies. Colin toiled for hours to find the right feather for his fly to catch the attention of the biggest trout in the creek. If he didn't have a fly rod in his hand, he had a bow waiting in a tree-stand for a deer to stroll by. He was in love with nature and all of its creatures. Colin loved to farm. He always had a garden patch.

Colin loved his family and friends. When his kids were growing up he would love to watch their baseball games. He was their biggest supporter.

Colin is survived by his mother, Martha Aeberli, Sons Ethan Aeberli and Teylor Aeberli. Colin's companion, Ivy Bellino. Lifelong friends of Sean Aumick and Chris Calvitti. We would be remiss not to mention his faithful hounds Bailey and Asher

The family sends a special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Morristown Memorial Hospital and Newton Memorial Hospital along with the responders of the Sandyston Fire department, Blue Ridge Ambulance and medics of St Claires. All of them gave their best to help Colin and we are forever grateful.
