I am so sorry to hear this news. I worked for Colin, Marty & Roger at the Apple Pit from age 16 until I was 22, they helped me stay employed while going to college.
Colin knew my older sister and always had a funny story to share. I felt like part of the family.
My prayers and condolences go out to Marty, his boys, and all who loved him.
Rest Easy Colin!
-love, Janel

i first met Colin when he was still a high school student...I was employed at Montague Tool and Supply and he got a job working for us part time..the first time i met him you knew he was a good person...he was a excellent co-worker and well liked by all the employees there...had many good times working with him...he moved on from Montague Tool eventually and i left in 1993 to work for USPS for 25 years and returned to Montague Tool in 2019...i had'nt seen Colin since before i left Montague Tool so probably about 35 years since we have seen each other...he stopped by the store earlier this year when i was working and was so good to see him again..he had one of his sons with him and they were getting something for his lawn business...he was the same person he always was ...he was one of the best persons i have ever met...very sad when i heard of his passing...way too soon...my condolences to his family... the world lost one of it's best...will always have good memories of him..

My time working for Colin at the Apple Pit was brief, but unforgettable. Sharing those 4am shifts pressing cider on cold November mornings showed me exactly who he was. Colin and his family represent the very best—kind, genuine, and remarkably hardworking. Over the years, whenever I ran into Colin, his face would light up with a smile as he talked about his sons. To lose him so early is an incredible loss. My sincere condolences to his family and friends, he will be deeply missed. Rest in peace, my friend
