Jose and I shared 14 beautiful years together. He was the love of my life. The most wonderful years of my life were spent with him, and I'm eternally grateful to God that he brought him into our lives.

I remember the first day my family and I met you as you were stepping out of your apartment and we were just moving in next door. The first thing you did was smile your radiant smile welcoming us to the building and just being your super friendly self. We all knew you were going too be a great friend and neighbor. The good times we had with you and your mom hanging out in the fire escape or in the kitchen cracking jokes were some of the best times of my teenage life. You were always so much fun and that led to decades of friendship, family ties that will never break and years of joy knowing that such a good person existed. We were blessed to know you. Thank you for all the laughs. Me, mom, Naomi and Gabriel will always hold your memory dear. Sleep in power, my friend. - Naida
