Edward A. "Ed" Predmore, 66, of Port Jervis, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at St. Luke's Montefiore Hospital in Newburgh, NY.

Born on October 16, 1959, in Middletown, NY, Ed was the son of the late Robert and Betty Predmore.

Ed spent his career in the automotive world, working as a Sales Manager at Clark Motor Sales in Port Jervis, where his easy way with customers and coworkers earned him many friendships over the years.  He loved NASCAR and was a familiar face at the local racing scene.  

Ed is survived by his wife and devoted life partner Karen Predmore; his son, Chris Predmore  (Amanda) and his cherished grandsons, Mason, Damien, and Ethan.  He is also survived by his many siblings: Robert Predmore Jr. (Pauline), Danny Predmore, David Predmore, Richard Predmore (Diane), Gary Predmore (Meagan), Tammy Predmore, Lisa Predmore (Shannon), Donna DePolito, and Mary DePolito (Robert). Ed is also survived by his sisters-in-laws Susan Martin (Tony), and Linda Hensz; and best friend Jim Capuano.  Also we would be remiss not to mention Ed's many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents Ed was predeceased by his twin brother, Arthur Predmore; his sister, Barbie DePolito; and his mother- and father-in-law, Elaine and Gene Clark.

A visitation will be on Monday, June 29, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:30 PM at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 East Main Street, Port Jervis, NY. A Service of Remembrance will begin at 4:30 PM.  Following  a private committal will take place.
