Emma D. Lee-Everett, 68, of Cuddebackville, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh, NY.

Born on March 15, 1958, in Morristown, NJ, Emma was the daughter of the late Alvin Vanderhoof and the late Emy (Snyder) Vanderhoof.

Emma spent many years working as a Dispatcher for GDS Foods in Sussex, NJ, where she was known for her dependability.

A woman of simple joys and a deeply generous heart, Emma found her happiness in the things that mattered most — her family and the great outdoors. She loved fishing, camping, and hunting, and brought that same love of nature home to her flower garden, where she spent countless peaceful hours. In quieter moments, she could often be found crocheting, creating gifts of love with her own hands. Above all, Emma was always cheerful, kind, and loving — a mother and grandmother who would give to her family until she had nothing left, and then somehow still find a way to give a little more.

Emma is survived by her loving husband, Robert Everett; her children, Andrea Sanabriasoto, Sean Wells and his wife Andrea, John Campbell, Daniel Lee, Sierra Everett, and Alexis Everett. She was the proud grandmother of Shaylen Geary, Madysin Lee-Brown, and Payton Sanabriasoto, and the great-grandmother of Justice Everett Beach, Jaxynn Geary, Yeager Geary, and Adelynn Wehnert, all of whom were the joy of her heart. She is also survived by her brother, Butch Vanderhoof; her sisters-in-law, Jackie Everett and Robin Everett; her dear cousin Dee; and many other loving family members and friends.

Emma was predeceased by her beloved brother, Kenny "Skip" Vanderhoof.
