Nancy Cacchione, of Sparrowbush, NY, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026 at Garnett Medical Center. She was 77 years old.

The daughter of the late Peter Pecirillo and the late Mary Monahan Pecirillo, she was born on October 5, 1948 in Port Jervis. She was married to the late Daniel Cacchione.

Nancy dedicated 32 years of her career to teaching fifth grade in the Port Jervis School District, shaping generations of young students with her  knowledge and love of learning.

A devoted wife and a strong, independent woman whose life revolved around her family, Nancy was an avid reader who treasured the time she spent with those she loved. She will be remembered for her quiet strength, her devotion, and the steady presence she brought to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Nancy is survived by her beloved niece Meghann Davis and her husband Christopher. She was the cherished “Nana” of Jack and Emily Davis.

Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Cacchione, and her sister, Patricia Wagner.

Services will be held privately at the family’s convenience.  Nancy will be buried with her husband at St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Jervis, NY.
