Camille Anne Regholec, a woman of unwavering faith, sharp wit, and immense heart, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026, at Westchester Medical Center. She was 69 years old. At the time of her passing, she was exactly where she spent her life’s happiest moments: surrounded by her four children.
A Life of Service and Spirit
Camille’s life was defined by her devotion to the Lord, which she carried out with a rare and refreshing blend of joy and sarcasm. From 2006 to 2025, she served as a Pastor, leading her congregation with a spirit that was as grounded as it was heavenly. She had a unique gift for speaking truth with a smile and perhaps a well-timed quip, making the word of God accessible and real to everyone she met.
Her wisdom extended beyond the pulpit and onto the page. A gifted writer, Camille was a published author of multiple adult and children’s books, as well as many articles in publications like “Chicken Soup for the Soul.” She leaves behind a written legacy of her insights, humor, and unique perspective on faith and life.
A Lifelong Learner
Camille believed it was never too late to grow. A lifelong learner at heart, she achieved a major personal milestone in 2010 by earning her Bachelor’s degree from Oral Roberts University. Her dedication to her education in her fifties served as an inspiration to her family, proving that passion and persistence have no expiration date.
Her Lasting Legacy
While her ministry was her calling, her family was her greatest pride. Camille’s fire and wisdom live on through the generations she raised and adored.
She is survived by:
• Her four children: Theresa, Connie, Roger, and John.
• Her three brothers, Jackie, Henry, and Christopher.
• A thriving legacy of 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, all of whom will grow up hearing stories of her laughter and her lessons.
Camille returns home just days shy of her 70th birthday, leaving behind a world that is a little less bright—and certainly a little less funny—without her.
Private funeral & cremation arrangements entrusted to the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home of Port Jervis, NY.
