Anthony J. Maillet Jr, died unexpectedly on November 30, 2025 at Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital.   He was 44 years old. 

The son of JoAnn and Anthony J. Maillet Sr, he was born on January 28, 1981 in Port Jervis, NY.  

Anthony’s journey through life was marked by both struggle and strength. He was most at peace in nature, wandering the woods, riding his four-wheeler through trails, or drifting along the Delaware River. The outdoors gave him room to breathe, to laugh, and to feel whole. Although his time here ended far too soon, we honor the parts of him who was a son, father, brother and friend. Now, at last, his Spirit is Free.

In addition to his parents Anthony is survived by his daughter Madison Maillet.  Dear brother of Melissa Schulze (Peter), Jessica Maillet, Michael Maillet (Nikole) and Adam Maillet (Jennifer).  Fond uncle of Joey, Destiney, Savannah, Elijah, Noah, Joshua, Samantha, Sage, Kaden and Brynn.  great uncle of Karter, Journey, Kiana, Sophia, Johnny, Jonah, Carsen, Cora, Devin and Layla.  

A visitation will take place on Friday 12/5 from 4 to 7:00PM at the Knight - Auchmoody Funeral Home 154 East Main Street, Port Jervis NY 12771.  Private cremation entrusted to the MacLennan Hall Crematorium of Milford.
