Richard W. Blume of Middletown passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025 in the comfort of his daughter's home.  

The son of the late Doris and Robert Blume, he was born on August 27, 1956 in Kingston NY. 

Richard served our Country with the United States Marine Corps.  Rich was a simple guy who cherished nothing more then his grandchildren and being a grandfather.  

Dear father of Kristy Blume with her husband Ezra Vega and Kelly Blume.  Beloved grandfather of Ezra "Buddy", Miley, Aiden, Kayla, Kylee, Giavanna, Alexis, Alyssa, Elijah, Harper and Lincoln.  Rich was blessed with two bonus daughters in his life Venus and Nicole.   We would be remiss to not mention his grandpup who cuddled with him to the end Chase.
