William L. Lincoln Obituary

William L. Lincoln of Wurtsboro died on September 20, 2025 at Garnett Health Medical Center.  He was 73 years old. 


The son of the late Jeanne and Raymond Lincoln, he was born on May 28, 1952 in New Brunswick, Canada. 


William was a skilled Bricklayer with Local BAC#5, known for his meticulous craftsmanship and dedication to his trade. His work reflected a commitment to excellence, leaving a legacy in the structures he built.


A devoted husband, father, and brother, William was a genuinely kind and respectful man whose generosity touched everyone around him. His character shone brightly in the compassionate care he provided for his sister, Jeannine.  William raised his stepdaughter, Tina, as his own, instilling in her a sense of self-sufficiency through shared projects and practical lessons. She credits him for his ability to turn ideas into reality, bringing  visions to life with his hands-on expertise. Remembered universally as a “hell of a nice guy,” William’s warmth, humility, and unwavering support to his family will never be forgotten.  


In addition to his parents William was predeceased in life by his sister Jeannine Lincoln and stepson Eric Driggs. 


Beloved husband of Margaret L. Lincoln.  Devoted father of Tina Lincoln Driggs (Lisa Papa).  Dear brother of James Lincoln (Laura) and Kathy Barnes (Guy).  Uncle of Michael Barnes, Kim Chappell and Annemarie Lincoln.
