Patricia A. Britt "Patty" of Port Jervis died on July 31, 2025 at Westchester Medical Center.  She was 54 years old. 

The daughter of the late Deborah Hedden and Jim Irish, she was born on March 30, 1971 in Port Jervis.  

Patty lived her faith through radical kindness—the sort of woman who’d literally give you the shirt off her back, then ask if you needed a sandwich too. A cornerstone of Wickham Methodist Church in Port Jervis, she treated everyone like family, earning her reputation as a mother to an entire community. Even during her grueling cancer battle, she prioritized others’ needs over her own, offering comfort when she needed it most. Her legacy isn’t in sermons preached, but in tears wiped and a lifetime of small sacrifices that added up to saintly love.

In addition to her parents Patty was predeceased in life by her son Alexander Koser.  

Beloved wife of Colby Britt.  Devoted mother of Nathaniel "Nate" Koser and Camille Koser.  Cherished grandmother of Le'lana, Mikah, Zion, Astrid and Dominic.  Dear sister of Deborah Freeman, Harvey Freeman, Thelma Cassemere, Lynn Osborne and Betty Buzon.   

A vistation will take place on Thursday from 4 to 7:00PM at the KNIGHT-AUCHMOODY Funeral Home 154 East Main Street Port Jervis, NY.  A Funeral Service will take place 7:00PM at the funeral Home.  Following services a private cremation will take place.
