Gwendolyn M. Bailey of Port Jervis, died peacefully on June 17, 2025 at Bon Secours Community Hospital.  She was 67 years old. 

The daughter of the late Gwendoline and George Waryacha, she was born on November 7, 1957 in Queens, NY. 

Gwendolyn had served with the US Army having been stationed in Korea.  

In addition to her parents she is predeceased in life by her brother Bernard "Butchie" Waryacha. 

Beloved wife of James Bailey.  Devoted mother of Jason Bailey (Cristy Smith), Dove Bailey (Heather Shipman), Tyler Bailey (Emma) and Robert Bailey.  Dear sister of Eileen Re, Mary Costello and Beverly Stielenbach.  Grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of one. 

A visitation will take place on Saturday from 2 to 4:00PM at the Knight - Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 East Main Street Port Jervis NY 12771.
