Augusto Prieto of Middletown, NY died at Highland Rehab & Nursing Center on June 5, 2025.  He was 90 years old. 

The son of the late Lucricia and Abel Prieto, he was born on August 30, 1934 in Bogota, Colombia. 

Augusto earned his Master's degree in his native Colombia and built a successful career as a Communications Engineer at Telefonica. He later moved to the United States, where he lived with his beloved wife and devoted himself to caring for his daughter, whom he loved deeply.

Beloved husband of Luz M. Prieto and devoted father of Luz Eugenia Prieto whom both survive at home.  Dear brother of Abel Prieto of Miami, FL.  

Services are private at this time.   Entrusted to the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home of Port Jervis, NY.
