Claire Ann Seiferheld Obituary

Claire A. Seiferheld passed away on May 2, 2025 at Delaware Valley Nursing & Rehab.  She was 83 years old. 


The daughter of the late Claire and Walter Geiger, she was born on February 11, 1942 in Glendale, NY.  


Claire’s greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren; they were her world, and her love for them knew no bounds. Beyond family, she held dear the memories of summer days spent at the beach in Roxbury, NY, where laughter, friendship, and the warmth of the sun filled her heart. Those gatherings with friends became a treasured part of her life, reflecting her love for life’s simple pleasures.  


In addition to her parents Claire was predeceased in life by her son Thomas Seiferheld, her grandchildren Danielle & Marty, her sister Joanne Carter and her brother Walter Geiger who was lost serving our Country in the Vietnam War.  


Dear mother of Lenora Gresser with her husband Michael and James Seiferheld with his wife Fran.  Beloved grandmother of Kristen, Samantha, Michael, Hailey, Casey and James.  Great grandmother of Mackenzie & Emma.  Fond aunt of Brian & James Carter.  Father of her children James Seiferheld.  


Arrangements are private, final committal will take place in the family plot at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.  


Arrangements entrusted to the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home of Port Jervis, NY.
