Obituary of Frank Martinelli Jr.

Frank Martinelli died suddenly on April 25, 2025 in the Bronx, NY.  He just turned 49 years old. 

The son of Ramona and the late Frank Martinelli Sr, he was born on April 18, 1976 in Montclair, NJ. 

Frank will be remembered for his sharp wit and the laughter he brought to those around him. A lover of 1980s culture, especially its classic rock, he had a nostalgic soul and a playful spirit. Some of his happiest moments were spent playing cards—particularly the game Casino—with his mother, whom he loved deeply.  

Frank’s sudden passing leaves a profound absence in the lives of those who knew him. His family will cherish the memories of his humor, his cats, and the love he shared. 

Beloved son of Ramona Martinelli and Step-son of John Van Tassell of Montague, NJ.  Dear brother of Vincent Martinelli and Tara Martinelli.  Cherished nephew of Alisa Hodowanec.  Uncle of Elly.  Fur daddy of Innocence & Boo Boo, his beloved cats.
