Obituary of Maria Giuttari

Maria Santa Giuttari, age 57, born May 31, 1967 in Suffern, NY passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025 at her home in Monroe, NY. Maria was an unconditional, devoted and attentive mother of her four children. Maria was also a hard working mom, with a vibrant personality. She always had a smiling, positive attitude which made her very loved in her workplaces, as well as by her family and friends.

She was kind and funny with a great sense of humor, and she used that to make people happy and feel welcome. She was loved by many family and friends and she will be missed very much.

Maria is survived by her daughter, Jesse Jade Knapp, her granddaughter, Charlee Jade Viohl, her son, Dalton Gray McGuiness, her daughter Eva Rose Sullivan and her two stepdaughters, Casey and Sarah Knapp. She is also survived by her mother, Virginia Holt of Georgia, her sister, Carol Varano of Georgia, brothers, Biagio Giuttari Jr. of Florida and James Giuttari of New York. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family.

Maria was predeceased by her son, Michael Keith McGuiness (Mugsy), her brother, Charlie Giuttari and her father Biagio Giuttari Sr.

The family is planning a memorial service for Maria at a later date, not yet determined.
