Obituary of Kathleen Sharp - Green

Kathleen Sharp - Green of Woodridge, NY passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025 at home with her husband by her side.  She was 72 years old. 

The daughter of the late Thomas and Thelma Sharp, she was born on October 21, 1952 in Port Jervis, NY

Kathy dedicated much of her life to working in the service industry, known for her warmth and reliability.  Kathy & Michael met and worked together at Poppins PM Resturant in Fallsburg, NY, which lead to a lifetime together of 43 years.  She would later go on to Tony's Resturant in their hometown of Woodridge, NY.  

A devoted animal lover, Kathy found her greatest joy in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by the animals she cherished. The simple, quiet moments meant the most to her.  Kathy was a genuine person who absolutely loved her friends.  

Over the past five years, she faced significant health challenges due to COPD. Despite these struggles, she remained a steady and grounding presence for those closest to her most especially her husband Michael.  

Beloved wife of Michael Green at home.  Sister in law of Lois Dragun and Marvin Green with his wife Audrey.  Aunt of Peter Green along with his wife Kerri and Lauryl Green.  Great aunt to Sparrow, Cedar and Fox.  Sister of Penny Sharp.  Cherished long time friend of Sherry Thompson,  Amy "the kid" and Maria "the kids kid".
