David A. Runnalls of Matamoras died on March 24, 2025 at Good Samaritan Hospital.  He was 67 years old. 

The son of the late Raymond and Susan Runnalls, he was born on July 29, 1957 in Port Jervis, NY.  

Dave was a man who lived life with humor, and a love for his grandchildren. An avid outdoorsman, he found joy in fishing—whether on open water or through the ice—and cherished time spent in nature, especially at the beach. As a proud member of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club, Dave embraced the freedom of the open road and the camaraderie of his fellow riders. Known for his playful spirit, he was a jokester at heart, always bringing laughter with his mischievous yet kind-hearted sense of fun. Dave’s warmth, humor, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.  

In addition to his parents Dave was predeceased in life by his sister Kathleen Irwin. 

Beloved husband of Deborah Runnalls.  Devoted father of Daniel Conklin with his wife Alicia, Brad Foster with his wife Marilyn and Christopher Foster with his wife Lyndsay.  Cherished grandfather of Layla, Emma and Isabelle.  

A graveside service will take place at 1:30PM on Saturday March 29, 2025 at Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush.
