Obituary of Douglas A. Pantley

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother Douglas A. Pantley, 65, of Huguenot, NY on March 21, 2025.

The son of the late Lottie and Donald A. Pantley. He was born February 28, 1960 in Port Jervis NY.

He was a generous man who would give you the shirt off his back, always helping others expecting nothing in return. He enjoyed many outdoor activities, including logging, cutting firewood, tractor pulls and gardening. He especially enjoyed vintage case tractors.

He was well known for his knowledge of heavy equipment repair, welding, fabricating and all-around handyman.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his nephew, Brendt Pantley. 

Beloved brother of Arlene Blitz (Bruce), Joann Zitone (George) and David Pantley (Glenda). Dear uncle of Gerry Blitz (Tiffany), Ruthlynn Williams, Jonah Blitz, Samantha Pantley, Jordan Pantley, Jynette Duggan (Owen), Lydia Pantley, Joseph Zitone (Lauren) and Heather Zitone. Great Uncle of Ezra, Louisa, Kylee, Isabella, Sophia, Max, Jasiyah, Amelia, Joseph, Luke and Nova.

A visitation will take place at Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home from 1 to 4:00PM on Wednesday March 26th. Family reflections will take place 3:30PM at the funeral home. Following cremation services, final committal will take place at Rural Valley Cemetery, Cuddebackville.
