Some of my best childhood memories were spent on the farm, watching Doug, Dave, Alan, Randy and a few others tinker away, building dune buggies from the ground up. Their knowledge and determination as they turned wrenches and shared ideas, always working on the next adventure.
When the buggies were finally ready, we’d all pile in, tearing through the fields and down dirt roads, and even through town, wind in my hair, and not a care in the world. Those rides felt like pure freedom, the kind of joy that sticks with you for a lifetime.
And then there were the hog roasts— summer nights filled with the smell of good food, the sound of music playing, and the camaraderie of good friends gathered together.
Those days on the farm were golden, and I’ll always hold onto the memories of Doug, the dune buggies, and the fun and laughter that made those times so special.

Many of us wouldn't be what we are without doug he offered a great deal of help too many and some of my best memories were taking him to the tractor pulls. And the many nights we spent working on the truck. I would not have been able to accomplish what I have over the years without the help that he offered in my earlier years. He was an inspiration and helped me to keep going. Rest in peace brother. Jim Koch
