Christopher P. Malecot of Port Jervis died suddenly on March 14, 2025 in The Valley Hospital, Paramus, NJ.  He was only 42 years old. 

The son of George Malecot and Carol Emerick, he was born on July 11, 1982 in Nyack, NY.  

Chris was a graduate of James I. O'Neill High School.  He was a longtime dedicated sales associate with Healy Chevrolet of Middletown.  

Beloved son of George Malecot of Highland Falls, NY and Carol Emerick of MA.  Dear brother of Matthew Malecot with his wife Lisa of Middletown, CT and Victoria Cochran with her husband Mark of Orange City, FL.  Fond uncle of Jacob, Connor and Alexander.  Cherished boyfriend of Janet Pirog of Washingtonville, NY.  The family wishes to acknowledge friends, co workers and extended family that were part of Chris's life. 

A visitation will take place on Sunday 3/23 from 1 to 4:00PM at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home.  Following services a private cremation will take place.  Final committal will take place in the family plot of Germonds Cemetery, New City, NY.
