Obituary of Arthur L. Bogert

Please share a memory of Arthur to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Arthur L. Bogert died on February 14th 2025 at Garnet Medical Center. He was 66 years old.

The son of the late Arthur and Monica Bogert, he was born July 24, 1958 in Ramsey NJ.

Art had a passion for many things. He found great joy in spending time outdoors, whether he was fishing, jet skiing, or tending to his beloved gardens. His love for nature and the simple pleasures of life was a defining characteristic, and he often found solace in the peace of the natural world around him.

As a dedicated landscaper, Art’s work reflected his creativity, hard work, and attention to detail. He took great pride in his craft and brought beauty to the homes and spaces he worked on. If he ever spotted a pile of items by the roadside, he couldn’t resist stopping to uncover treasures, always finding something that could be repurposed or enjoyed by himself or others.

Art is survived by his life partner Veronica Kent. Brother of Marylu Zeller, Shawn Bogert (Cathy). Uncle of Chris, Nick, Shawn and Austin. Stepfather of Cory Kent (Janelle). Lifelong friend of Joe Smith (Dawn).

Private cremation services entrusted to Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home of Port Jervis NY.
