Rodney H. Jorgensen of Sparrowbush died at home where he wanted to be on January 22, 2025.  He was 92 years old.  

The son of the late Anker and Borghild Jorgensen, he was born on January 17, 1933 in Oslo, Norway.  

Rodney served our Country with the US Army.  He was a retired dedicated employee of the Consolidated Edison Company.  

In addition to his parents Rodney was predeceased in life by his sister Grace W. Hansen along with her husband Walter A. Hansen.

He is survived by his nephews John A. Hansen with his wife Pat, Kenneth E. Hansen his wife Bonnie and Walter A. Hansen with his wife Lynn.  Rodney was a great and great great uncle.  The family wishes to acknowledge his local friends and neighbors who were special to him right till the end.  

A visitation will take place on Thursday at the Knight - Auchmoody Funeral Home from 10:30AM to 11:30AM.  A funeral service will take place 11:30AM at the Funeral Home.  Following services burial will take place in the family plot at Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush.
