Mary Lou Aumick Obituary

Mary Lou Aumick a lifelong resident of the area died peacefully at home on October 24, 2023 with her family by her side.  She was 79.


The daughter of the late James McGaw Sr. and Anna Weaver McGaw, she was born on June 22, 1944 in Port Jervis. 


In addition to her parents she was predeceased in life by her beloved husband of 58 years Clare Aumick, her sister Barbara Baird, brother in law Kevin Baird, sister in law Maryann McGaw and brother in law Arthur "Butch" Aumick.


Devoted mother of Penny Quick with her husband Walter of Shohola, PA and Michael Aumick with his wife Pauline of Port Jervis.  Dear sister of Patricia Anderson her husband John of Port Jervis and James McGaw Jr. of Port Jervis.  Cherished grandmother of Bryanne Jensen (Ben), Jessica Hamilton (Doug) and Aaron Aumick (Cory).  Great grandmother of Kayla, Sadie Claire, Lillie, Marlon, Silas and Addison. 


Services are private as Mary Lou wished.  Final committal with her beloved Clare will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush.


In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the United Hospice 42 Park Place Goshen NY 10924.
